The band will record a new cut in February as part of Converse's 'Three Artists. One Song' campaign, which sees a trio of talents come together for a track.
The release will coincide with the unveiling of Converse's new collection of shoes, which have been designed in collaboration with Gorillaz.
Damon Albarn's band will also host a special club night on December 1 at London's 100 Club, titled Gorillaz Sound System.
The Converse 'Three Artists. One Song' series has previously featured collaborations between Graham Coxon, Paloma Faith and former The Coral guitarist Bill Ryder-Jones.
Meanwhile, Albarn recently confirmed plans to open his new opera 'Doctor Dee' in London next summer.
