The singer has recorded new track 'On A Rainbow', which tells the story of Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville's journey to the London 2012 games.
Fletcher explained: "This is an amazing opportunity and it's something I'm very proud to be involved in.
"I wanted it to be fun for kids and a song that kids could remember and sing along to."
The track will feature the 26-year-old's sister Carrie Fletcher and pupils from West Leigh Junior School choir in Southend-on-Sea.
'On A Rainbow' is based on a series of animated short films which see the two mascots embark on sporting adventures across the UK to encourage children to take part in sport activities.
Rainbow Rescue is narrated by Stephen Fry and will be shown on 373 screens in more than 100 Odeon cinemas nationwide before selected family movies from November 25.
