The group, who released their last single 'Freedom' as a free download, said they are keen to 'take their time' with their next album.
Heidi Range told the Daily Star: "The Sugababes are definitely not splitting. We're just taking our time."
The news comes after rumours that the original Sugababes lineup - consisting of Keisha Buchanan, Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena - will reform next year.
Range is currently in rehearsals for the next series of ITV1's Dancing on Ice, while Amelle Berrabah is said to be working on solo material in the studio.
The band recently said their new album was a reflection of their personalities, adding: "Some of the content is true, some of it's about our friends and families and some of it is fantasy - because in music you can be whoever you want to be."
The Sugababes' eighth album is scheduled for release on April 9 next year.
