The 39th annual American Music Awards was definitely ladies' night, as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj scooped top prizes at Sunday evening's Los Angeles ceremony.
The evening also saw a number of unique collaborations, including the first material from will.i.am's forthcoming solo record #willpower.
And who thought they'd see Justin Bieber and David Hasselhoff grooving along with LMFAO?
The 2011 American Music Awards first aired on ABC. The ceremony will be broadcast in the UK on November 26 at 10pm on VIVA.
