Nicki Minaj to release new album in early 2012?

The rapper's label boss Birdman - who is the CEO of Cash Money Records - revealed that the company is planning to unveil new material from Minaj soon.
Speaking to Billboard, Birdman explained: "Nicki's back in the studio, so we're looking to drop Nicki in the first quarter [of 2012]."
Asked when fans could expect the trailer single, he added: "Maybe this year? I don't know.
"We're really thinking it out. But she's in the studio, and we're looking real soon, because she's ready to go and we're ready to go with her."
Minaj recently teased fans by hinting that a new track could be unveiled in a few weeks' time, which would feature her playing her alter ego Roman Zolanski.
