The band have previously confirmed plans to play 15 shows across the UK and Ireland, starting in Dublin on January 20.
The new London date will be the group's third in the capital and will take place at the O2 Arena on February 12.
The Irish five-piece will be supported by Everything Everything for all stops on the tour.
The new shows will be in support of Snow Patrol's new album Fallen Empires, which charted at number three in the UK on Sunday.
Frontman Gary Lightbody recently complained that people see them as boring, as they don't cause any controversy off the stage.
