Since then, the band's surviving members have talked up an "official tribute group" and teased the possibility of a new album and musical. The Michael Jackson estate has also given the band permission to work on the tracks Mercury and the King of Pop made together.
Today, we mark the 20th anniversary of Freddie Mercury's sad death in 1991 from bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS. We can't think of any better way to mourn his loss than to simply present our favourite musical moments from the Queen back catalogue, so here they are.
