The Wimbledon Common natives made a rare public appearance in aid of their latest single 'Wombling Merry Christmas' and LP, which are available now.
The album features 20 of the band's greatest hits, including 'Remember You're A Womble', 'The Wombling Song' and 'To Wimbledon With Love'.
Speaking about 'Wombling Merry Christmas', which reached number two in 1974, Uncle Bulgaria said: "I don't watch much television myself - I leave that to the young Wombles - but I hear The X Factor is jolly popular.
"Let's see what people think of The W Factor! It should appeal to the common people."
The group recently unveiled the music video for the re-release, which sees them perform in front of a panel of judges.
