Boy George has urged Adele to quit smoking.
The 'Rumour Has It' singer has had to undergo emergency throat surgery in recent weeks to protect her vocal cords and to stem bleeding from a benign polyp.

Boy George insisted that Adele should give up the habit, so she can enjoy a longer career as a singer.
He told The Mirror: "If you're a singer and you smoke it really isn't a great idea. I gave up smoking six months ago which was the best thing I ever did.
"I used to try to convince myself it made me sound jazzier. It was very difficult to give up but I'm so glad I did."
It was recently suggested that Adele will not perform any live dates until her throat is fully healed in the New Year.
The star, who has sold over 12 million copies of her album 21 this year, released her concert DVD Live At The Royal Albert Hal today (November 28).
