Exclusive: Nicola Roberts previews 'Yo-Yo' music video - watch

Nicola Roberts has released a behind-the-scenes preview of her new music video exclusively on Digital Spy.

The singer wears a variety of outfits and throws a plate at her on-screen boyfriend in the clip for 'Yo-Yo', which will premiere in full on November 30.

Roberts said: "The general concept is really all about the story and just following the story of the song.

"It's a really emotional song... [so] one of the hardest things about today is to take it out of my situation and be able to perform the song through the cameras."

She added: "I think the song means a lot to a lot of people, so fingers crossed the story really hits home."

'Yo-Yo' is the third cut from the star's first solo album Cinderella's Eyes, and is officially released on January 2.
