Ruby Rose signs with record label?

Ruby Rose has reportedly landed herself a record deal.

The Australian television and radio personality, who regularly DJs at events and has also launched her own fashion label, is said to be keen to take "the next step" in her career and become a professional musician.

According to the Herald Sun, Rose joined Sony bosses on their table at the ARIA Awards on Sunday night and is hoping to mirror the success of Melbourne DJ Havana Brown.

An industry insider said: "She's already got a name for herself that people will recognise and the right 'look'. She dresses like she already is [an artist]. Now it's just about coming up with the right material and a market."

Rose has previously revealed that she collects guitars and would love to be a rock star, despite admitting that she cannot sing or play a musical instrument.

Rose and her former Talkin' 'Bout your Generation co-star Josh Thomas had a public spat on Twitter earlier this year. He claimed that she left him in a bar with a huge bill and branded her a "loser".

She later said that she was very "upset" by his comments and he apologised, but then targeted her in a comedy gig this year, calling her a "c**t" at least ten times during his routine.
