George Michael voice 'put at risk by pneumonia treatment'

George Michael could reportedly have his singing voice damaged during his ongoing battle with pneumonia.
The 'Careless Whisper' was hospitalised in Vienna, Austria on Monday with a "severe" case of the condition.

Physicians treating Michael have now confirmed that the ventilator he is attached to could alter his vocals by forcing air in and out of his lungs.
"It depends how long he spends on the ventilator, but in the worst case his illness could seriously affect his singing capacity," Dr Gerrit Wohlt told The Sun. "The pressure is very close to his vocal cords and it could affect them."
Michael's boyfriend claimed this week that the singer is "getting stronger" all the time.
The 48-year-old was forced to cancel all of the remaining UK dates on his 'Symphonica' tour after falling ill.
