The rapper insisted that his new LP RevolveR contains music that is much better than his past records as he has developed into a "better artist".
Asked what fans could expect from the new set, T-Pain told Digital Spy: "Better music than ever, I think. This is going to be the album I'm remembered for.
"I kind of went down a different route for this album and threw out whatever. It just turned out to be better than all of the rest of my albums."
He added: "I went back and listened through my old albums and just thought, 'My new record is much better'. I'm just better at what I do now. I've just developed into a better artist and I know who I am."
T-Pain's new single '5 O'Clock', which features Lily Allen and Wiz Khalifa, is available to download now in the US and on December 4 in the UK.
The star's new album RevolveR will follow on December 5.
