The 'Come Home' country star was expected to sing with Cee Lo Green, Justin Bieber, Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé and Katherine McPhee in New York but cancelled for unknown reasons, reports AOL Music.
Other performers recently added include Neil Diamond and Big Time Rush.
The music video for Bieber and Mariah Carey's duet of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' will also premiere on the one-hour special.
In addition to the live performances, Christmas in Rockefeller Centre also includes the lighting ceremony of the Rockefeller tree that takes place annually in Manhattan.
Last year's musical performers included Carey, Josh Groban, Susan Boyle and Sheryl Crow.
Hosted by Today show correspondents Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie, Christmas in Rockefeller Centre airs tonight at 8pm ET/7pm CT on NBC.
