Madonna to feature new ballad 'Masterpiece' in 'W.E.'

Madonna has recorded a brand new ballad for her forthcoming movie W.E.

The singer will feature new song 'Masterpiece' in the upcoming film, which Madonna has directed herself.

The track has been produced by William Orbit and fansite Madonnarama reports that it is "very orchestral".

The website also claims that Madonna's voice is "absolutely stunning" on 'Masterpiece', which is expected to feature on both the W.E. soundtrack and the star's upcoming new album.

Orbit has also been working closely with Madonna on her 12th studio opus, which is slated for release in spring 2012.

Meanwhile, W.E. has been confirmed for a UK cinema release on January 12, 2012.
