Flaming Lips to release live album
Published Wednesday, Aug 2 2006, 08:53 BST | By David Cribb
The Flaming Lips are planning to release their very first live album.
The band have already recorded some material for the release, at their Hollywood Bowl show last week. They now want to add to this songs which will be recorded at a show in their hometown of Oklahoma City.
The album will not be brought out too quickly however, insists Micahel Ivins: "We never want to rush stuff out and say, 'Hey, look, it's out for Christmas'".
The band hope to release the CD in early 2007.
