Happy Mondays have denied reports that they are to reunite in 2012.
The Sun claimed that Shaun Ryder had decided to reunite the band's original lineup following the recently-announced Stone Roses comeback.

They were expected to start gigging again in the summer of 2012, which would coincide with the re-release of their album Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches.
However, a spokesperson for the group has told NME that the rumours were a "bit of a leap", but did not rule out the prospect of them doing something next year.
The Happy Mondays first split in 1993, before briefly reuniting in 1999 and 2004.
