The singer said that their fans only want to see them move on stage as it would be "really funny" as they're self-confessed "terrible" dancers.
Speaking about what fans can expect from their upcoming appearance at T4's Stars of 2011 concert, McGuiness told Digital Spy: "It's going to be one of our first major performances of 'Warzone' - we've done it a few times already, but this will be bigger.
"It's also nice, those events, as there are loads of other artists and you can ask what they're doing and - you know when people are not sure about their new single? - you can find out what's going on behind the scenes and stuff."
Asked about their stage show, he added: "Our fans always ask us to dance, because they know we're terrible and they think it's really funny. But I don't think the world is ready for that yet, because it would be embarrassing for everyone!"
The Wanted's second studio album Battleground reached number five on the UK chart upon its release last month.
This year's T4 Stars of 2011 will take place at London's Earls Court on December 11 and feature performances from Jessie J, Dappy, Cher Lloyd and many others.
Tickets for the event are on sale now.
