The Charlatans will play their album Tellin' Stories in full at two upcoming live shows.

Following 2010's Some Friendly dates, the band take their 1997 album on the road next year to mark its 15th anniversary.

The Charlatans play Tellin' Stories at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Friday, June 8 and at Glasgow Barrowland on Saturday, June 9.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday, December 9 at 9.30am. A pre-sale on the band's official website begins on Wednesday, December 7 at 9.30am.

Tellin' Stories features the hit singles 'North Country Boy', 'One To Another' and 'How High'.

Drummer Jon Brookes rejoined The Charlatans a year ago after being forced to take a break following a mid-gig collapse caused by a brain tumour.
