Kylie Minogue starts tour rehearsals

Kylie Minogue has started rehearsing for her homecoming tour.

The Australian singer is spending up to six hours per day in a central London studio as she works on revamping her stage show.

A friend told The Mirror, "Kylie is really giving it her all. We were worried at first that her self-imposed schedule would be too demanding, but she seems to be taking it all in her stride. She wanted to re-work the show as a thank-you for all the lovely messages she received while battling the cancer."

Minogue had to abandon the Showgirl tour after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005.

"You know, my energy's coming back now. I am so revved up. I can't wait to get back to my day job," Kylie confirmed. "We're changing the show, it won't be the same. We're adding to it. It's going to be magical. It's all smoke and mirrors!"
