The Darkness, Professor Green added to Isle of Wight festival bill

The Darkness and Professor Green have been added to the lineup for next year's Isle of Wight festival.

The two acts are joined by Feeder as the latest names confirmed to play the music event, which takes place between June 22-24 next summer.

Wretch 32, Loick Essien and Clement Marfo & The Frontline have also been announced to perform at the festival.

Pearl Jam, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen have already been confirmed as the trio of all-American headliners the organisers promised earlier this year.

They will be preceded by acts including Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Madness, Elbow, Example, The Vaccines, Noah and the Whale and Biffy Clyro.

Tickets for the Isle of Wight festival are on sale now.
