Metallica concluded their 30th anniversary celebrations by reuniting with two of their original members for a special gig.
The band played four nights at San Francisco's Fillmore to mark their career milestone and invited former members Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney on stage for a brief reunion on Saturday night (December 10).

It was the first time the pair had played with Metallica since 1982, while the current lineup organised video tributes to their peers U2 and Slipknot, reports The Guardian.
Guests of the band included recent collaborator Lou Reed, members of Judas Priest, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Saxon and Alice in Chains.
The metal rockers played a collection of their most famous hits and were joined on stage by Black Sabbath's Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler during performances of 'Iron Man' and 'Paranoid'.
Since forming in 1981, Metallica have become one of the most successful rock acts in the world, having sold over 100 million albums.
