Jobs died in October at the age of 56 after battling with pancreatic cancer.
His award is included in the Trustees Award category. Other Trustees Award recipients are composer and musician Dave Bartholomew and recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder.
Jobs, Bartholomew and Van Gelder will be honoured in a private ceremony on February 11, 2012, a day before the CBS telecast of the awards ceremony.
After Jobs passed away, many of his friends shared their favourite moments with the Apple co-founder.
Microsoft chairman Bill Gates said: "Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives."
Al Gore said that "there's no-one like Steve", while Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg described him as "a mentor and a friend".
