R Kelly has revealed that he has written 32 new episodes of his cult 'hip-hopera' series 'Trapped in the Closet'.

The singer released 22 episodes of the comedic music videos between 2005 and 2007, featuring many storyline twists and turns and a wide range of characters, many of which were played by Kelly himself.

He explained that he is currently searching for investors to help put money behind making the new videos.

"It costs a lot of money to do, so we're actually looking for investors," he told TMZ.

The series spawned a spoof South Park episode of the same name and a parody by Weird Al Yankovic titled 'Trapped at the Drive Thru'.

R Kelly will embark on a five-day Caribbean cruise of gigs in October 2012, with tickets ranging from $999 (£646) to $2,999 (£1,940).

He is expected to release his tenth studio album Black Panties next year.
