The 'Headlines' rapper, who collaborated with Ross on 'Lord Knows' for his sophomore album Take Care, revealed that the pair share a musical affinity which means they work well together.
"If I have chemistry with anyone in the studio, it's Ross. We want to make the same music. It's definitely a very good experience," Drake explained to MTV News.
Drake also expressed hope that he and Ross will be able to complete work on their mixtape Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once) in 2012.
"Yeah, it only makes sense, so hopefully," he added. "I'm actually going to Miami to see him this week, sit down and work on God Forgives and just work on whatever comes. Me and him usually do a few songs, so we'll see where they end up."
Drake recently announced a a string of UK arena tour dates scheduled for early next year.
He will also hit the studio in January to work on Justin Bieber's new album Believe.
