Cee Lo Green changed the lyrics to John Lennon's 'Imagine' during a performance last night, drawing the wrath of angry fans on Twitter.
The singer was one of many performers for Saturday's (December 31) Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve showcase live in Times Square, New York.

Green sang 'Imagine', but altered Lennon's original lyrics, changing them from "Nothing to kill or die for, And no religion too" to "Nothing to kill or die for, And all religion's true".
He later tweeted about the change, insisting he meant no disrespect to the original song.
"Yo I meant no disrespect by changing the lyric guys! I was trying to say a world were u could believe what u wanted that's all (sic)," Green wrote.
However, the tweet has since been deleted, according to the Huffington Post.
The change sparked a backlash on the social networking website, with one fan tweeting: "All region is true = no religion is true." Another tweeted: "The whole point of that lyric is that religion causes harm. If "all relgion's true" it would be a pretty bleak place."
Green's responses have also been deleted from his account.
The Voice finalist Vicci Martinez recently said that she is hoping to get Green to appear on an upcoming single.
