Flo Rida thankful for Etta James sample on 'Good Feeling'

Flo Rida has revealed that he is thankful for Etta James's clearance to sample one of her classics.
The rapper's current chart hit 'Good Feeling' samples the iconic singer's 1962 track 'Something's Got A Hold On Me' after she allowed him to use the song.
The hip-hop performer told the Daily Star: "'Good Feeling' is my favourite song ever. With that Etta James sample as well, I have to send much love to her for clearing it.
"Beyoncé introduced me to her. I used to watch the movie Cadillac Records where Beyoncé played Etta James. I would watch it over and over."
Flo Rida also revealed his method of testing out tracks before he releases them to the public.
He explained: "I test my songs out at strip clubs first. If you can get a girl to dance you know you're on to something good."
Flo Rida is expected to release his new album Only One Rida (Part 2) later this year, along with a collaboration with LMFAO.
