David Bowie at 65: 'Ziggy Stardust' named Bowie's best album

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars has been named David Bowie's best album by readers of Digital Spy.

In our poll to mark the iconic musician's 65th birthday, 21.7% of you decided that the 1972 concept album was Bowie's best work.

The previous year's Hunky Dory was in second place with 16.5%. Low, the opening chapter of Bowie and Eno's Berlin Trilogy, came in third with 9.5%.
