The band embarked on a world tour last year, playing a number of festival slots across the globe including Wireless in London as well as Reading and Leeds.
However, Pulp's official Twitter feed has posted a mysterious message suggesting that they may embark on another tour this year, saying: "You think this is over?"
The teaser comes despite frontman Jarvis Cocker's claim last September that their 2011 tour could be their last.
The singer is quoted by NME as telling the crowd at the Electric Picnic music event: "This may be the last time we're ever all on stage together again."
The star had commented earlier in the set: "This is the last gig of the tour, so if we start crying or get emotional, you'll understand."
Pulp recently announced plans to reissue their first three studio albums - 1983's It, 1987's Freaks and 1992's Separations - in February 2012.
