Ed Sheeran has confirmed the name of his next single and teased details of an upcoming tour.

The singer and rapper revealed on Twitter that 'Drunk' would serve as the fourth cut from his debut album +, following on from previous releases 'The A Team', 'You Need Me, I Don't Need You' and 'Lego House'.

"So my next single is Drunk," he wrote on the site, adding: "I got 2 music videos coming for you..... :)."

Hours earlier, Sheeran announced that he would be touring again in the autumn after a number of recent gigs sold out.

"My autumn tour will be announced soon for anyone that missed out on tickets," he wrote. "I'm avoiding arenas, don't wanna do them on this album cycle, it's all about the multiple dates, wanna break some records!"

Sheeran further explained to Example - with whom he recently collaborated on an upcoming single - that he wants to "do like 25 Brixtons in a row".

Writing to Perez Hilton about his decision to avoid bigger venues, the 20-year-old said: "[I] just don't wanna cheat the fan base I've built just to sell more tickets, il move to arenas at the right time :). (sic)"

Sheeran this week picked up four Brit Awards nominations in the 'Best Single', 'Best Album', 'Best Male' and 'Best Breakthrough' categories.

He is set to support Snow Patrol on their US tour between March and May.
