Soundgarden and Biffy Clyro have been added to Download Festival's lineup for 2012.

Chase & Status, Tenacious D and You Me At Six have also joined the bill for the festival at Donington Park on June 8-10.
Metallica, The Prodigy and a reformed Black Sabbath are set to headline the three nights of the festival.
The Prodigy will headline the first night (June 8), while Metallica will perform their 1991 self-titled album in full. Black Sabbath are due to play the final night, but it has yet to be confirmed whether the recently announced cancer diagnosis of Tommy Iommi may affect their slot.

Soundgarden announced plans for a first new album in 15 years last year, and performed their first reunion gigs in July.
