Juliette Lewis on Lana Del Rey comments: 'She's a fresh songwriter'

Juliette Lewis has taken back criticisms she made about Lana Del Rey.
Del Rey made her US television debut during Saturday's (January 14) episode of Saturday Night Live, where she served as the musical guest to the Daniel Radcliffe-hosted episode of the comedy series.

Lewis slammed the singer's performances of her tracks 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans' after the episodes, writing on her Twitter page: "Wow watching this 'singer' on SNL is like watching a 12-year-old in their bedroom when theyre pretending to sing and perform #signofourtimes [sic]."
However, Lewis seemingly changed her mind by Sunday morning (January 15), when she once again took to the social networking site, only this time speaking out in support of Del Rey.
"I woke up singing a @LanaDelRey song! Such great haunting melodies! Regardless of my own taste LIVE she's a #FreshandYummy songwriter. Period," she posted.
After one of Lewis's followers suggested that she check out Del Rey's forthcoming debut album, she replied: "I like what I've heard so far."
