Chase & Status: 'Nero should have won Brit Breakthrough Award'

Chase & Status have revealed that they would have preferred Nero to win a Brit Award over themselves.
The producers confessed that they would be happier to see the 'Guilt' stars walk away with the 'British Breakthrough Act', after they signed them to their label back in 2010.

Saul Milton told the Daily Star: "Never mind us, Nero should get 'Best Newcomer' at the Brits. That would make us happier, especially as we signed them."
Chase & Status will compete for the 'British Group' award at the Brits 2012, which will be held at London's O2 Arena on February 21. They are the only drum & bass act to be nominated this year, and will compete fro the prize against Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Elbow and Kasabian.
However, Nero failed to get a nod in the 'British Breakthrough Act' category, which sees nominations for Anna Calvi, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Jessie J and The Vaccines instead.
