Barack Obama wants Jay-Z, Arcade Fire for election campaign

Barack Obama has told campaign donors that he wants Jay-Z and Arcade Fire for his upcoming re-election campaign.
The US president will face voters in November in a bid to win a second term in the White House. However, the leader has handed supporters a list of artists he would like to appear in his campaign.
Along with Jay-Z and Arcade Fire, Obama lists Alicia Keys, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Black Eyed Peas rapper will.i.am as ideal celebrity supporters, reports Rolling Stone.
There are also requests for Vampire Weekend, Janelle Monáe, Jack Johnson and actor George Clooney to feature in his electoral campaign.
A number of artists who appear on the new list - including Jay-Z, John Legend and Jamie Foxx - made appearances for the president during his 2008 campaign, which saw him become the first black president in the United States.
