LL Cool J to host Grammy Awards 2012

The rapper-actor will head the proceedings when the music industry honors its biggest stars at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 12.
LL Cool J - who has previously hosted the Grammy Award nominations concert - said he is very excited to be a part of the prestigious ceremony.
"I'm thrilled to be part of music's biggest night," he said in a statement. "I will always have fond memories of my first Grammys Awards and to now be hosting the Grammy show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true."
Adele leads this year's nominees with six nods for her album 21, while Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters and Kanye West are also up for numerous awards.

Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean and Foo Fighters will perform during the February Grammy Awards telecast. Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars will take the stage as well.
The Grammys will also honour R&B legend Diana Ross with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
The 54th annual Grammy Awards will air on February 12 from 8pm (ET/PT) on CBS.
