Jessie J has revealed that her latest number one single was inspired by a Whitney Houston classic.
The singer explained that her new cut 'Domino' was influenced by the diva's 1987 hit 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody', because she wanted to write a happy song that everybody could move to.

Jessie J told Capital FM: "Me, [writer Claude Kelly] and [producer] Dr Luke sat and listened to Whitney Houston in the studio, and Prince. I was like, 'I want to write my version of that in this day and age'.
"[We] wanted to do something uptempo, fun, everyone can sing along to it, every age can dance to it. It's such a happy song, it makes me smile."
The star recently admitted that she would like to record collaborations with Adele and Tinie Tempah for her second album, which she is currently working on.
