Russell Brand will interview Ringo Starr for Sirius XM Radio, it has been announced.
Brand will join moderator Don Was for the radio special Town Hall With Ringo Starr, airing live from Los Angeles. Starr will take questions about his life as well as sing during the live event.

Brand joked about being chosen to host the Town Hall show by saying that he hopes to learn more about Starr's legendary reputation.
"Like most people I am ignorant as to his life before he rose to prominence with Thomas the Tank Engine," Brand quipped in a statement, adding: "Now we can unravel the enigma of Ringo."
Town Hall With Ringo Starr will air on Sirius XM on January 30, one day before Starr releases his new album Ringo 2012.
Starr's fellow Beatle Paul McCartney is also prepping his own new LP Kisses On The Bottom, which will be available for purchase on February 6 in the UK and on February 7 in the US.
