Girls Aloud's V Festival performance was almost pulled following a security scare, the Daily Star claims today.
Organisers considered stopping the group's show after some fans pushed through barriers at the front of the stage.
A source told the newspaper: "The girls' people were told they should be taken off stage fearing an accident."
Sarah Harding added: "We were really nervous about doing V as we didn't know how the crowd were going to respond but they were amazing. We could only see people in front of us. It wasn't until later we knew they wanted to stop the show. We had a wicked time performing."
