Coldplay to play charity concert in Los Angeles

Coldplay will play a charity show in Los Angeles next month, it has been announced.
The 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall' band will headline a special concert at Club Nokia on February 8.

The gig is being organised by the iHeartRadio network to benefit the youth charities A Place Called Home and Youth Mentoring Connection.
Coldplay will be in LA ahead of their scheduled performance with Rihanna at the 2012 Grammy Awards on February 12.
The group have scored the biggest-selling rock album of 2011 with their latest release Mylo Xyloto. Their hit 'Paradise' has been named the top-selling rock single as well.
Coldplay's singer Chris Martin recently confessed his belief that Lady GaGa is a better songwriter than he is.
