Pete Doherty and Carl Barat are teaming up to record a song, according to reports.
The former Libertines bandmates have both recorded some parts for a cover of 'Janie Jones' by The Clash, which will be released to raise money for charity.
The single will support Strummerville which, in memory of Joe Strummer, encourages the production of new music. It should be released before the end of the year.
A source said: "It's still early days and nothing has been set in stone but they've both put down vocals."
