Ben Howard has said that he insisted his debut album be released on vinyl.
The singer-songwriter's debut Every Kingdom was released last autumn in the classic format, as well as CD and digital download.

Talking to Absolute Radio's Pete Donaldson at London's Hard Rock Cafe, Howard said: "I think when we first got the CD as a physical format, like I've got it on vinyl and got it on CD, that was the moment where it was like, 'Wow, this actually happened'."
Asked if he insisted on vinyl, he replied: "Yeah, insisted on vinyl... There was a few little things, like just stuff like getting the cardboard cases, I'm big up on that sort of stuff.
"It was kind of funny, the vinyl's got like one of the really old-school stickers on, like one of the pink label ones. I think that was the moment where it really sunk in and, yeah, [I] realised I was a musician full-time."

Of the success of the album, which reached number seven in the UK charts, Howard said: "It's been amazing, it's been really cool.
"I guess [I'm] really amazed at the sort of response we've had from so many people. I think I never really expected to sell many records."
He added: "I think I just wanted to sell a few and get the record out there, and just the fact that we'd made it and the music was out there was an amazing thing to achieve.
"It's been mind blowing the amount of people that picked the record up, so yeah, it's been great fun."
