Arctic Monkeys cover Katy B's 'On A Mission' - watch video

Arctic Monkeys have performed a cover of Katy B's 'On A Mission' for Radio 1.

The band played a rendition of the Peckham singer's debut track for Radio 1's Live Lounge, where they announced that they will release a brand new single in the coming weeks.

Discussing their new material, Alex Turner said: "I don't think it'll quite be an EP. We're about to go and tour with The Black Keys and we're going to put out a new tune before we go and do that."

Turner also revealed that the group will not be playing any European festivals in 2012, adding: "We're not doing any, I don't think."

The group's manager Ian McAndrew recently insisted that they are happy on a small record label, and have no plans to move to Sony or EMI when their current contract expires this year.
