Gotye 'Somebody That I Used To Know'
Gotye has topped this year's Triple J 'Hottest 100' countdown with his hit single 'Somebody That I Used To Know'.

The Australian-Belgian musician, who collaborated with New Zealand singer Kimbra for the song, was named the successor of last year's winners Angus and Julia Stone on the annual Australia Day chart yesterday afternoon.

After the announcement, Gotye wrote on his Twitter page: "Thanks to everyone who voted."

His songs 'I Feel Better' came in at number 34, while his 'Your Light' was number 87 in the list. Last year, Gotye's Making Mirrors was named 2011's 'Album of the Year' by Triple J.

Kimbra's 'Cameo Lover' was numer 25, while her other singles 'Good Intent' and 'Two-Way Street' reached numbers 52 and 93 respectively.

Other artists featured in the top ten included former Australian Idol contestant Matt Corby, Boy and Bear and The Jezabels.
