The children's entertainment group, who returned to their original lineup last week after sacking stand-in member Sam Moran, released a video of the patriotic song yesterday and asked their fans to appreciate their "wonderful" country.
Wiggle Anthony Field said on the video posted on their YouTube channel: "Happy Australia Day! On January 26 every year, Australians go out and celebrate what it is to be Australian. We love the cultural diversity, the wonderful weather and of course, the wonderful seafood.
"Don't forget the wonderful wildlife, the bird life... and everybody loves a cuddly koala. We'd like to sing an Australian song to celebrate Australia Day. It's the old favourite 'Waltzing Matilda'."
Page's return to The Wiggles has caused controversy, after various sources claimed that Moran was "ostracised" from the group and often referred to as the "salaried Wiggle".
Moran initially said that he was happy to step aside spend more time with his family, but Field later revealed in a TV interview that Moran's sacking would have been a shock to him.
