Madonna has promised that MDNA will be an upbeat album.
The 'Gimme All Your Luvin'' singer revealed that while her Golden Globe Award-winning song 'Masterpiece' is a ballad, it is one of the few featured on the LP.

"'Masterpiece' is one of the few kinds of more down-tempo songs, more reflective," Madonna explained to MTV News.
"I think the majority of the record is more action-packed. More high-energy."
Madonna went on to credit her long-time collaborator and producer William Orbit with taking MDNA to the next level.
"We've worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other's sentences. He knows my taste and what I like. Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together," she said.
Madonna was recently said to have broken down due to exhaustion while rehearsing for her upcoming performance at the 2012 Super Bowl next month.
