Lana Del Rey is on course to claim her first UK number one album.
The singer released her debut LP Born To Die on Monday (January 30) and is currently topping the midweek chart.

The new collection is outselling the rest of the Top 10 after just two days on sale, according to the Official Charts Company.
A full list of this week's midweek chart positions will be released tomorrow (February 1) between 3.30pm and 4pm, but it's expected that Del Rey will continue to claim the primary spot throughout the rest of the week.
Songwriter David Sneddon - who won Fame Academy back in 2002 - has defended Del Rey from claims that she is manufactured, saying that her lyrics are "incredibly personal to her".
