Nicki Minaj 'Stupid Hoe' music video banned by BET network

Nicki Minaj's latest music video 'Stupid Hoe' has been banned by BET.
The US television network has confirmed plans to stop playing the promo, but failed to specify a reason for the decision, reports TMZ.

However, sources have cited Minaj's repeated use of the word "hoe" in the song's lyrics and the star's seductive dance moves in the accompanying music video as too explicit for TV.
The rapper's 'Stupid Hoe' broke a record on video site Vevo when it first debuted, tallying up over 4.8 million views during its first 24 hours online.
Meanwhile, the release of Minaj's second studio album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded has been pushed back until April 3.
