Biffy Clyro have revealed that they are nervous about performing new songs from their upcoming album.
The band have previously said that they will release a double album later this year and are currently preparing to record the new material in Los Angeles over the coming months.

However, bassist James Johnston has admitted that he is feeling apprehensive about performing new songs for the first time during their sets at this summer's RockNess and Download festivals.
Johnston told the Daily Record: "It will be the first or second time we'll have had a chance to play these songs live.
"It's quite exciting. It makes me nervous sitting in my living room and thinking about playing these songs live having kept them under wraps for so long.
"That's always an exciting point, when you come out of the studio with a finished song with the chance to play it to the world. We're looking forward to that a lot."
Johnston also confirmed that the band wasn't joking when they recently said they were being influenced by mariachi music.
He added: "Mariachi is cool. We have friends in a band called The Bronx who have a mariachi side project, which is really cool."
