Katy Perry to perform at 54th annual Grammy Awards

Katy Perry is to perform at the 54th annual Grammy Awards later this month.

The 'One That Got Away' singer joins previously-announced performers Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift for the event.

Adele will also make her first live performance since undergoing throat surgery at the February 12 awards ceremony.

Drake will grace the Grammy stage as a presenter alongside fellow musicians Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley as well as Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow.

Adele heads this year's Grammy nominees with six nominations, including nods in the 'Album of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' categories.

Foo Fighters have also notched up six nominations, while Kanye West, Bruno Mars and Coldplay have all been recognised in multiple categories as well.

Diana Ross will be the recipient of this year's Grammys Lifetime Achievement Award, following in the footsteps of music legends the Allman Brothers Band and George Jones.

LL Cool J hosts the 54th annual Grammy Awards, airing live on February 12 from 8pm (ET/PT) on CBS.
