Heatwave music festival has been declared insolvent.
Since the Australian annual event went into voluntary administration, 26-year-old promoter Olivier Lokolomba has been formally named as a missing person.
According to The ABC, Lokolomba was last spotted at an ATM in Sydney on January 21, and $30,000 (£20,311) from the Heatwave account is now missing.
Heatwave director Patrick Whyntie said that he did not suspect Lokolomba of theft, instead saying: "He's a lovely guy. We all fear for his safety. We think that he possibly has been robbed with a substantial amount of money on him and he never showed up to the other events.
"We just fear that possibly something bad has happened to him."
Heatwave Festival was originally scheduled to take place last month in Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Middleton. The acts booked for the event included Kid Cudi, Tech N9ne, D12m Far West Battlefront and Jack the Giant Killer.
